Genbook offers businesses and professionals a way to accept appointments online. The application can improve the service offered by companies by making it easier for clients to set up and confirm appointments. The application works 24 hours a day, seven days a week so the user can take appointment requests any time. The user adds the Book Now button to their website, blog, email newsletter and/or Facebook profile to give clients access to their Genbook scheduling tools. Along with the button, the user can also access a professional looking scheduling page that can include their logo, customer reviews, service list, company details and an embedded Google Map. The user determines which time slots they would like to make available to clients on Genbook. The application supports increments as short as 15 minutes. The client can choose their time slot and Genbook updates the user’s profile accordingly. The application allows users to accept appointments as much as twelve months in advance. Recurring appointment features are also included.Show more screenshots »
Genbook was founded in 2007 by CEO Rody Moore. The application was intended to help businesses and professionals with their client scheduling needs. The current version includes a number of helpful features as well as a partner program that allows partners to earn a bonus when they refer a client.
Genbook works much like other applications that are intended for business appointment scheduling. Users can set up a 24 hour appointment acceptance resource that improves their ability to serve their clients. The application has a very professional design, which could make it more appealing to some users.
Genbook uses a number of eye-catching colors, ranging from vibrant green to soft blue. The user can set up an appealing business page that includes the name of their company at the top alongside a logo. Full color Google Maps can be embedded to help customers locate the user’s physical business location. The Book Now button is very clean and attractive. The user can navigate their account using light blue tabs that run across the top of the page.
New users can get started by clicking on either the orange and white “Sign Up” button in the upper, right hand corner or the matching “Try Genbook for Free” button along the lower half of the homepage. The registration form on the following page is broken into two sections. The top asks for an email address and password. The bottom requires a business name, business type, country location, zip code and terms and conditions agreement. The form gives the user access to a free 30 day trial of Genbook.
After the 30 day free trial has ended, the user will have to choose between two paid membership plans. The first is the Genbook Solo plan which costs around $20 per month and includes access for one staff member. The Genbook Standard account costs around $40 per month and includes access for unlimited staff members. Both plans include all scheduling features, unlimited appointments, real time scheduling, unlimited customer support, video tutorials, step by step guides, online and mobile account access and unlimited services.
Genbook.com is ideal for anyone who owns or manages appointments for a small business. The application includes two plan options based on the number of staff the user requires. The application can simplify client appointment scheduling and reduce the number of staff members and resources the user needs to handle scheduling.
